• There are a number of excellent writers populating the world today. When it comes to Fantasy or Action-Adventure, though, there are far too few. What’s more, when it comes to writers with that something extra, those who so perfectly bridge the gap between Young Adult and plain Adult, such writers are rare. Bella Forrest stands out among even the unique.
  
  BLUSH FACTOR No worries with this short book. Although many prayer groups might object to the story, others would have no qualms. The writing and storytelling is free of any serious profanities and sex, although there is a hint of romance.
  
  THE WRITING & EDITING Smooth, professional writing and editing that keeps the reader’s interest.
  
  POV First person, but differing with each chapter. I am amazed with how easily Forrest seems to be able to pull this off. With each character’s discussion of what he or she sees and thinks, I am enthralled just as if I were standing beside Santana and Harley.
  
  STAND-ALONE OR CLIFFHANGER ENDING? Although you could read this as a stand-alone, I think the fullest pleasure would come by reading each of the previous books. Also, although it doesn’t end with a cliffhanger, per se, it is clear there is more to come. This, though, is not a bad thing, because these stories are so engaging and so enthralling that you’re likely to find yourself aching to read the next book, and the next, and the next. This writer is THAT good.
  
  CHARACTER OR PLOT-BASED? A blend, to be sure, but it is the characters that so absorb my interest.
  
  BOTTOM LINE
  
  In terms of literary analysis, I wouldn’t claim Forrest to be up there with history’s greats. But, in terms of connection with her audience, she is as magnificent as any writer in history. Indeed, Samuel Clemens, I believe, was just such a writer. Although writing in a different genre, I would say that Bella Forrest is the Adventure Writer of our era that comes closest to that of Mark Twain during his era.

• OMG I COULDNT PUT THIS BOOK DOWN! I am loving this story i can’t honestly wait to see what’s next?! .. i can’t wait to find out what’s Harley going to discover on all the secret behind her family & the truth behind this whole mess! i honestly can’t wait to see what the futures hold for her! She’s truly the definition of HARDCORE AWSOMR CHICK!!! AND THE romances i am loving the couples! I just need more of H & W....!!!!! I can’t wait for next book!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! • I am sill not a huge fan of all the different Pov but I am getting used to it but Harley is my favourite character. Finally Katherine Shipton shows up albeit at the end of this book. I would have thought they would have tried to remove the suppressor by now if they need Harley to be more powerful but it rarely comes up and her broken esprit has yet to be fixed. Definitely more action on this book but too many loose ends that detract from the story.
• Can't wait to see what Harley does next! I just wish that Wade would kiss her already! Those 2 where made for each other. Oh, then there is Santana Raffe! WOW now there's definitely romance and passion in that relationship starting up! Raffe bad side I gotta admit is kinda hot! Keep the books coming Bella! Your an incredible author!
• Lord help me what a rollercoaster!!! I couldn't put this book down. Like I dont want to spoil it for yall so all I'm gonna say if hold on for dear life reading this book I have so many questions and I need answers! Bella Forrest always dose an amazing job with her books but this one .. just wow you have to read it
• If you love her Shade of Vampire series you will love Harley Merlin and her friends. Well written can't wait for the next book. Hope she keeps this series going as she has with her Shade of Vampire series developing her characters and creating new generations to love.
• Stumbled across the first book when I was looking for something new and different to read. Rarely does an author grab you and suck you into a book but this is what Bella has done. I anxiously await each release and gobble up the pages when it hits my . Great job. Although I want to know what the letter said! I can't wait 2 more weeks! 😂
• Love the way the series is written. The book moves along at a good pace. The characters all seem to has a believable role that they fulfill which makes the reader care about each one. At the end of each book, I can not wait for the next book to be released.
