• This supplement is one of the very few things that have managed to get through my property class this semester. Although my professor is incredible, the Short and Happy Guide puts everything into bright line format. It really helps clear up confusing topics and the acronyms Franzese comes up with really do aid in memorizing elements. My only complaints are that Franzese only discusses the validating life approach to Rules Against Perpetuities. I found the Create, Kill, and Count method much easier and it would have been nice for her to discuss that method for RAP as well. Additionally, the binding on the book is terrible. The end portion of my book, starting with the Land Transactions section, has started to come unglued from the cover of the book. Neither of these complaints are truly worth docking any stars from this product, though. If you are taking property, I cannot recommend this supplement enough!
• I virtually never review things, but this book literally saved me in property. Nothing about the class made any sense so I bought the Short and Happy Guide and taught it to myself. When taking the exam I kept remembering the various mnemonic devices she created and while I don't know my grade yet, I do know that it would have been substantially worse without this book. Also if you have Barbri access, she apparently has lectures on there for free.
  
  If anyone ever meets this amazing woman, please send her my (and my study group's) gratitude.
• Wow! Just Wow! This book has made property simple for me, and easy to remember. It turned a subject that my professor said was the hardest to grasp in law school easy.

• Super helpful in understanding (almost) all aspects of property for school. Franzese is a great teacher, and her lectures are fun and easy to understand. I just feel that some of the areas of the book could have given a little more information.
• Wish I would have bought it sooner! Quick read! You can easily finish the book in a couple of hours if you're a quick reader. The acronyms are helpful and honestly, you do feel this sense of happiness knowing you understand! I'd recommend looking up youtube videos to help with any gaps in understanding as well. I didn't have this when our class went over future interests and I sorely wish I did. Happy reading! Just buy it!
• Its a great tool! This clarified and cemented the big concepts of property as well as the elements. Font is nice and big. The pages aren't cramped with a lot of information. There are charts as well! Small for travel too.
• Property is seriously complicated. This book does an excellent job of simplifying and clarifying a complex topic, making sense of things I spent all semester trying to figure out. This isn't a substitute for the cases and assigned reading, but it is an awesome study aid and has some great memory tricks to help you prepare for your final exam.
• Good book for my law school

• I had been eagerly anticipating Will Storr's new book, after reading the marvellous "Selfie" (a vivid, frank discussion of the cult of self-esteem, enriched by detailed political analyses and enlivened by wonderful anecdotes which brought well-known figures like Ayn Rand to life). This didn't disappoint. This is part wonderful romp through literature—the quotations and excerpts have been meticulously curated and are read with extraordinary thespian skill—part psychology, part neuroscience and part anthropology. You will love it, even if you aren't looking for writing advice. It will leave you with a new appreciation of literature. And, if you are looking for writing advice, you will find it invaluable. As always, Storr manages to both range widely AND go deep. And what an enjoyably chameleonic voice! Highly recommended.

Larry, his protagonist, a disengaged, alienated outlier, unwilling to assume the obligation of reciting kaddish for his beloved father, is transformed in one paragraph (yes!--one paragraph!) into a rabbinic Shaul who bewilderingly begins speaking with the inflections of a Yeshiv-ish gemara teacher, living an orthodox life in Israel with a scholar-wife, offering bromides to a troubled adolescent, and twenty years after the fact, trying to come to grips with his not having recited kaddish for his father. The author's failure to offer even a suggestion of any psychological arc is so glaringly absent that one needs to re-read said paragraph, asking oneself--did I miss something? Englander's work, heretofore heralded as the next coming of Malamud and Roth, has hit a nadir of monumental proportions. • I'm a long time fan of Dave Barry's books. I discovered his work one day at my local bookstore when I was looking for a new book by Lewis Grizzard. I was hooked after the first few pages. I've never been disappointed in any of his books and have re-read "Dave Barry's Book Of Bad Songs" more than I care to admit to doing. It still makes me laugh. This book though is a little different. It's still funny, and will make you laugh out loud, but it's very introspective and touching too. Since others have already mentioned the premise of the book I'll skip that but basically it talks about the seven lessons he's learned from his dog, Lucy. I think the one thing that surprised me the most is that he admits to being very shy. I met Dave Barry at a book signing a few years ago when he was in Atlanta, Georgia. He was friendly, outgoing, and very entertaining. I'm a regular contributor on his blog and was shocked that he actually knew who I was. He hides his shyness very well. If you ever get a chance to go to one of his book signings you should definitely go. I really enjoyed the stories in this book about his safari, sailboat cruise, Hurricane Irma, etc. However I was very touched by the last chapter where he discusses his daughter Sophie's illness. I went through something very similar with my own daughter when she was a teenager so I know the terror he and his family must have felt. Fortunately she is now doing better and so is Dave's daughter.
  If you have never read any of Dave Barry's books (What's wrong with you????) this is a good one to start with. Then read his book of bad songs. You won't be sorry.
• Dave Barry takes us through the seven lessons he learned from his beloved dog, Lucy, and how he tried to become a better person because of her. The last lesson isn’t one he really learned from Lucy, but something that happened in his life. I won’t go into it, but if you love someone who undergoes something very serious, you will understand exactly how Dave felt. Excellent book.
• One of Dave’s best. You do not have to be a dog lover( but it helps) to enjoy this book. In fact , I have laughed so hard tears roll down my face ..poignant, funny , all true. Thank you Dave for such joy and laughter. And yes , my precious Pit Bull Margaret is mindful and is helping me enjoy every moment. , especially with her.
• I have always enjoyed Dave Berry but this is perhaps his best. He has clearly matured, there aren't any booger jokes, and with the realization of both aging and mortality he has written an important and at the same time hilarious book for anyone who is getting older (that would be all of us). Being a 'dog person' myself I could relate to all the lessons he gleaned from Lucy. This was a really fun and at times very touching book.
• James Thurber was what used to be referred to as a "New Yorker" writer Essentially this meant he wrote (mostly) short pieces that were sardonic, satirical, not infrequently mean, and, because he WAS James Thurber, after all, funny.
  
  What they were NOT, was moving or heart-felt
  
  Except when he was writing about dogs.
  
  Thurber may not have had a very high opinion of us people, but he LOVED dogs. I defy anyone to read his "Memorial to a Dog" and not wipe a tear from your eye (even if you are a... forgive my language.. CAT person)
  
  Dave Barry is our modern day James Thurber, although I think he holds SOME of people in higher regard, but he has the Thurber touch when it comes to dogs
  
  And, yes, you may well find yourself wiping away a bit of moisture now and again while reading this, too
  
  So, from me and an aging Boxer named Dexter, we raise a glass of wine and drool respectively... and respectfully... to Mr Barry and Lucy
• The simple joys aren't simple at all, and as I've aged right along with Dave Barry, I've appreciated his take on every life milestone. Laugh-out-loud moments intertwined with pathos show that he's an expert at his craft. One of his best!
• Classic Dave Barry story telling style, but don't expect a laugh a minute. It is truly about life's real lessons...helped along by learnings from Lucy. Dave knows dogs.
• One of his best! Covers life philosophy in a way he does best. My daughter kept asking what I was laughing about.

• I purchased this for my niece's 8th b-day with an obnoxious amount of gel pens. I wanted to get her something that was encouraging and inspiring because I think it's important for young girls to develop a healthy sense of self. This coloring/activity book was just what I was looking for without being too cheesy or having so much positivity it is vomit-inducing and unrealistic.
• As a mobile therapist, I require a huge library of coloring books for boys & girls alike. This has been one of my most popular among my kiddos! As a therapist i love the inspirational quotes & bold designs, making them awesome pieces for kiddos to display at home or in their lockers proudly. Appropriate for all ages & coloring abilities. I love them myself too ) pages are blank on the back, leaving room for drawing & name signing if need be.
• I got this book for my 11 year old daughter. She hasn’t received it yet, but I know she will love it. I as a mother absolutely love it. I love how positive the coloring pages are. There is also a positive quote on the back of each page. I may just have to purchase one for myself.

• I like other books from this author. But I no not like this one. I do not like anything about this particular book. I wish I could return it.
• I had hi hopes for this coloring book. It seemed to have good messages for girls. However, the pages shown in the photos are the best pages. The rest of the book is not that great, it is just okay.
• Love these coloring books. Graphics are large enough for young hands and colored pencils. Designs are fun and great for kids.
• Empowering slogans for girls. some easy and some more complex designs.
  My 4 years old daughter loves it and can sit for a long time enjoying this activity.
  We especially had a great time together filling the page of "you are..." with wonderful positive characteristics and behavior. We all enjoyed it.

• Has good illustrations. But I wish it had as much content as the regular Mega Man Complete Works art book. It does have less content, but I mainly wish it had the profile views section, which Mega Man did have. If you could only get one of the books, get the regular Mega Man one instead. I still like the book and will be keeping it, it is still an above average quality art book. I was expecting more of Mega Man Official Complete Works 2.0 with this art book, it was not advertised as such and so I cannot really complain about it.
•  Mega Man X Official Complete Works is actually a half of the 336-page Japanese art book "R20" which was published in March 2008 to celebrate Mega Man's 20th anniversary. It's nice to have Capcom translate the book into English. The other half is Mega Man Official Complete Works
  
  This book retains the paperback format, low gloss pages and layout. The cover has a glossy embossed Mega Man X printed against a matte cover. It's very beautiful and X pops out nicely. This book has 144 pages compared to the Mega Man volume which has 200 pages.
  
  There are both good and bad in releasing the original book as two volumes in English. The bad, of course, is the higher price. The good is the it's thinner and more friendly to the book spine. By comparison, my 320-page "SF20 The Art of Street Fighter", also from Capcom, has slight creases when I open the book wide.
  
  The art inside is arranged by chronological order. The book is filled with colourful character designs, sketches and illustrations from game covers, manga and other merchandise. The variety is amazing. The pages are packed with so many versions of powered up Mega Man X, the bosses and enemies.
  
  The designs are beautiful and detailed. I've never actually played Mega Man X before so this book isn't as nostalgic as the other volume, but whatever you can think of is probably found in this book.
  
  Accompanying the designs are lots of quotes from the Japanese artists. They talk about the characters, ideas, and you can gain some interesting insight into their working environment. There are 8 artists doing the designs and they are Ryuji Higurashi, Hayato Kaji, Keisuke Mizuno, Tatsuya Yoshikawa, Shinsuke Komaki, Haruki Suetsugu, Sho Tsuge and Yoshihisa Tsuda.
  
  This book is a great tribute to the Mega Man X franchise, highly recommended to all fans.

• This is something that's worth having in print (I tend to be a junkie with the kindle). The artwork is superb and the creators of this series really outdid themselves.

• I've been a Mega Man fan since the Nintendo days, but I became a HUGE Mega Man fan once I played Mega Man X on the SNES! This book gives lots of info on the series direct from it's creators! It's full of cool facts, amazing art both concept and final artworks used in the game, and pretty much everything else you could ask for involving the 'X' series! I love it!
  
  This book MUST be in the collection of any Mega Man fan (X series or even of the original series), so buy it for yourself or knock a friend or family member whose a fan of the games off their feet with it as a gift!
• This thing is chock full of information, art, and commentary. It's really cool! There's a lot of blurbage from Inafune and you can see and feel how much love he put into the X series (until 6, hah). Any Megaman X fan is sure to love and enjoy this. It packs so much into a 144 pager! I highly recommend getting it with Mega Man Official Complete Works, as originally they were part of the same book, like other reviewers have said.
